Staying Positive and Spiritually Centered

Staying positive + spiritually centered throughout unprecedented times during COVID-19
There’s no question that these are very trying times for many of us. The coronavirus outbreak is bringing a level of uncertainty that you may have never before experienced. It certainly represents a ‘new normal’ – but this does not have to be entirely negative! In fact, it could present a glimmer of hope for our days ahead.
Here at Inherit, we believe being beautiful means never compromising who you are. We also happen to design and sell some beautiful modest clothing to help you with just that!
So, what are the steps that will help you to stay centered during this challenging time?
Always seek out positivity and stay grounded in God’s promises. !!
As the world reacts to these unprecedented times, we as human beings simply aren’t geared to carry the weight of all of the world’s problems. We simply look towards Him and remain prayerful. God’s got this.
Look for ways to help
The late Fred Rogers once said, “When I was a boy and would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”
That sure rings true today! No matter the challenges this pandemic brings keep a lookout for family, friends and neighbors, while respecting the social distancing guidelines in your community.
Bear in mind that among other benefits, caring for others can momentarily take your mind off your own troubles. So, whether you help out by volunteering, donating to good causes or even simply doing a grocery shop for your self-isolating neighbor, you will be part of the solution. A simple wave at a stranger as you are passing by on the road, or a phone-call to a friend or loved one. Any help big or small can make such a huge impact.
Focus on the inside rather than the outside
This pandemic is undoubtedly affecting us in all kinds of different ways.
Here at Inherit has long been that you don’t need to show your style to the world to be true to you. So, don’t be afraid to take the time now for self-care, smiles and simply spending more time in the word, in prayer with Him.
