I have bought the Briar and Jo versions of this skirt for myself and my teenager, not realizing they are all slightly different, until recently. We were trying to sort out our laundry and realized we both leaned toward the Jo version. We love these for running, workouts, and even just to wear at home. We have athletic pants we add under these to run and do works out. I believe it's the Jo version that allows for extra movement. We have the Snoga skirts, but we return to these, because sometimes we don't want to wear the attached leggings. The Snogas without a slit are too tight around the hips for some workouts. We stay very cool and dry in these in our California weather. They are a must for modest women. My boys play baseball and I go in often to Dick's sports store; this summer they came out with their versions of athletic skirts. I'd say they don't match up to the engineering behind Inherit's athletic skirts. Please, don't discontinure these. :)
