Soft fabric, I smoothed out the wrinkles right after it was washed, and hanged to dry. The was NO need to iron once it was dry. Comfortable and light. the waist is very flexible, but didn't fall off. If between sizes, size down.

This is a beautiful skirt but it is very stretchy. I ordered the 3X which should have fit me true-to-size but it was falling off my waist. So you may want to size down.
