Hello there! Anthony + Amy here!
Curating a modest closet isn't easy, and for me (Amy) that journey didn't happen overnight!
In 2005 I turned my life to the Lord + strived to dress
modestly.
The struggle was very real in finding modest, fun, feminine,
on-trend styles that I felt like myself in.
In 2018, God laid Inherit on my
heart. My husband Anthony, and I prayed on this God-given opportunity and we are SO thankful to be on this purpose filled journey!

This material gets softer every time I wash it, yet the weave seems very durable for how lightweight it is; which is a tricky balance to achieve sometimes in clothing! I love the elastic band right at the waist/ at the first tier of the skirt portion; it pulls in just a bit to give shape, but still sits just slightly away from your body; offering a good "tidy" but not "fitted" look that keeps it both casual yet just a touch prim. The frill / shoulder ruffle is a perfect touch that goes really well with the long sleeve and again there's an excellent balance with the sleeve having plenty of room to "float" but it's not too oversized. Whoever drafted this pattern really had a good sense how far to go and when to say "that's good enough"; it's fashionable but still very functional as something to wear in lots of different situations.

I LOVE this dress! I’m usually between a M/L and went with the medium. Glad I did! There is plenty of room at the bottom of the dress, but I feel like it looks very modest! I wear a nursing cami with it and voila! Perfect for wearing and nursing!
