This skirt has good stretch, and 6 fits perfectly at the waist and hip for this short waisted, 29.5 waist, 39.5 hipped person. It is long, and I may shorten it a bit, I am 5'4". It does not have a slit, so it is noisy when I walk . Drives my husband crazy. Out and about, with normal other noise, it is not noticeable. I did size down and love it ! I originally ordered an 8, ..just didn't look good. (fit was fine) The 6 fits my hips better, in the right place, and it doesn't slide around. Returns and exchanges are so easy. I am so glad I took a chance.

The stretch is perfect to this skirt and even though I can’t take a full step it is still forgiving when I walk. I bought and 18 and it’s way to big but it was a final sale product and they were out of the size 16. I just put a few darts in it it’s perfect. I bought a few more final sale skirts and had to dart them even though they were a size 16 also. Love love looooove this skirt. Cannot say enough about the perfect quality of material also!

I love everything about this skirt. From the fit to the color to how it fits with the shape of my body. I’m a tall girl 6’2 and the length is perfect! Very stretchy!

You will never wear this skirt out!!! I wear an 8 in the Remi and the 6 in this was beyond perfect. It is stretchy and not clingy on the bum. It is a bit long on this 5'4" body and make so much noise when you walk it is distracting. (maybe the sturdy fabric?) Considered putting a slit in the back, but the seamstress said it would have to be too, high for my taste. So, I wear it for things, that are noisy. Maybe as it ages and gets softer it will be more quiet. (kinda like a puppy)
