The 5 Summer 2025 Trends We’re Loving Right Now (And You Will Too)
Share
Hey friend!
Summer is so close I can almost taste the iced coffee and feel that sunshine. As I’ve been styling our new collection, I couldn’t help but notice some trends popping up again and again. Ones that just feel right for this season of warmth, joy, and ease.
At Inherit, we’ve always believed you don’t have to chase every trend to feel beautiful. But when fashion and function align with modesty and femininity, that’s my sweet spot. So here are five trends I’m loving this summer, and how we’re wearing them at Inherit.
1. Eyelet and Sunshine Yellow
Eyelet is having a moment and I’m here for it. There’s something so timeless and breathable about this feminine texture. Add in a sunshiney shade of yellow and you’ve got instant joy in dress form.
The Rayna Eyelet Dress was designed to be that happy-go-lucky piece that still feels polished. It’s lined, modest, and has sleeves, but the color and detail make it feel like you’re walking on sunshine!
Style tip: Pair it with our neutral Kora Ballet Flats or white sneakers for a comfy, on-the-go outfit that still feels pulled together.
2. Denim Dresses That Just Work
Denim dresses are totally trending, but let’s be honest, they never really went out of style around here. The
Ada Denim Dress is back in stock and it’s the perfect blend of structure and ease.
This one’s for all the girls who want to toss on one piece and feel instantly cute. The fit is flattering. The wash is just right. The vibe is a little vintage, a little modern, and completely timeless.
Wear it with: A straw hat, our Dolce Vita ballet flats , or layered with a belt bag for your summer farmers market runs.
3. Ballet Flats
One thing’s for sure…ballet flats are officially back and they’re not just for ballerinas. I love how a simple, feminine flat can ground a bold look or elevate a casual outfit.
We styled them with dresses, skirts, and even jean skirts during our last shoot, and the verdict is in. They’re comfortable, they’re cute, and they go with everything. And yes, they are close-toed!
Need a new neutral? The Kora Ballet Flats are seriously versatile and add that soft, sweet finishing touch to your look.
4. Light Wash Denim Everything
Say hello to summer's go-to fabric…light wash denim. It's soft, breathable, and always on trend. If you haven’t met the
Maelia Stretch Denim Skirt yet, she’s the real MVP.
We brought her back because our customers couldn’t get enough of her classic fit and everyday wearability. She moves with you, sits at just the right length, and pairs with absolutely everything. I love the washed tab look on the back for a fun trendy detail.
Don’t miss it: This one's a closet staple that checks every box…modest, flattering, and effortlessly cool.
5. Simplicity with Personality
This season isn’t just about trends. It’s about choosing pieces that feel like you. Whether it’s a classic
button up in a lightweight cotton, a comfy matching set, or a dress that flows just right when you walk into church, we’re here to make modest fashion feel easy, joyful, and still on trend.
My tip is to pick pieces you feel good in, then mix in one or two trend-forward accessories or colors to freshen up your summer style.
I hope this gave you a little inspo for the warmer days ahead. At the end of the day, trends will come and go, but feeling confident in who you are, that’s always in style.
Let me know in the comments, what summer trend are you most excited to try!
Blessings,
Amy
